Light in the Dark
I, like many others, do not want to fall down when pushed. When something bad happenes, it can sometimes overwhelm us, complety pushing us to our knees. It can leave a scar or maybe just a scratch. But, no matter how big the gash, it still has to heal. No matter how many times we fall we must get back up. Even if it takes eternity, sometimes it may feel like forever, but you will get back on your feet. You will live on. Other times people or things push to hard in our life and we break. Thinking we will never be fixed, whats left of us cast aside like a broken toy. But, you must know that there will always be a bottle of super glue waiting for you. You just have to find the courage to find it. Or else you might just lie there broken and unfixed. Feeling like your life is just gone, that there is nothing left to keep you alive. That, sometimes is how we lose people. To be not lost or to not have given up, is to keep your flame alive in our hearts, minds, and bodies. For you may never know when you may need the warmth and light to spread on to others. To help those of us who have been broken, maybe even being the flashlight in the dark. Some random act of kindness could be that flashlight or bottle of glue, more precious then gold. Or sometimes it can be you best friends....
